Someone mentioned below that this kit comes 1 liter short and I agree. After my e92 M3 sat on my lift for a couple weeks whilst I did a BBK upgrade, I decided to do the oil change. I drained both plugs for about an hour. Siphoned out the oil in the oil filter housing. Added all the oil in this kit, my car still showed oil level at half way. Now, technically I am okay, but I know my car will burn a little oil over time. Finding this specific oil in this weight is not something you can easily pick up at your local auto store. Would be great if FCP could offer a kit with another liter - I'd happily pay more.

I recently did an oil change in my e93 M3 and although technically the amount of oil provided in this kit is correct, I think that if you drain according to repair manuals (20-30 minutes drip!) AND also take the time to syringe out the oil at the bottom of the filter housing, you will be left a little short in terms of oil needed to bring the car up to operating level (not far from it but a little short) that coupled with the fact that these engines do consume a little oil, I think that this kit should come with either 2 x 5L or 5L plus 5x 1L and this would allow to have a little extra to keep for top off between the oil services. I am sure price point of the kit is important for competitive purpose but I think I'd pay a little more for that 1L extra. Yes I know I can get 1L anywhere... feedback is feedback. I LOVE FCP Euro so keep up the great work guys!

My 2rd oil change using Liqui Moly. I noticed that the oil warms up quicker then the BMW brand and I change my oil every 4 to 5 thousand miles anyway. Liqui Moly oil change kit is a good quality oil I would recommend anyone to use. It should add the oil drain plugs to kit, because I change my drain plugs each time I change my oil. Overall a great product for the price!!!

Good kit - comes with enough oil to have 1/2 liter left over for top-ups. Would be complete (and 5 star) if it included replacement drain plugs. The aluminum OEM plugs are crap and wear out in 1-2 uses. They should be replaced at every oil change.

Ive never used Liqui Moly oil in my M3. The research sounds like this is as good as the BMW branded oil. I change my oil at 4000 miles anyway so I do not believe much can go wrong. I might be wrong but shouldn't the oil change kit come with a crush washer for the oil pan bolt? That's my only complaint.

Convenient to have all the items you need in one kit. Worked nicely for me.

Just put in Liqui-Moly into my E93 M3 I just bought as my first oil change. I use Liqui-Moly in my other BMW as well so I know the brand is reputable. The kit comes with everything needed. Oil warms up quick. Going to continue to use lifetime replacement on the kit for the duration of the M3's life :)
