Worked like it was suppose to

My concern (if it's valid) is that this Pentosin variant used to be LL-01 spec oil as it shows on this website in the kit reviewed here. In the kit I received, neither the 5L or 1L bottles say "BMW, Mercedes-Bend, Volkswagen" and "LL01" approved as the illustrations show here at FCP Euro. Both the "BMW" and "LL01" have been omitted from the labeling.... however it's the same part number as the LL-01 spec bottles.. My guess is that it's the same oil as before, and that's my hope. A nice Mann filter (the same as the BMW filter from BMW, though I do prefer Mahle), and those two little green o-rings are included. I really appreciate that, as I change those o-rings with every oil change. Went from LiquidMoly 5W-40 (for last summer) back to the 5W-30 that is factory spec for this amazing engine in our '03 E39 530i....and it runs as smooth as butter, like a sewing machine with Pentosin. I'm not sure how the LiquidMoly 5W-30 performs in contrast, but I can say this....I'd buy this Pentosin again with no hesitation, just based on how smooth the engine is with it. First time using Pentosin oil. I liked that everything was included even two green O-Rings (have never changed them before, oops). Will see if my '01 330 CI convertible likes her new oil. I will update in a month or so. The only thing is, I had to get an extra quart of oil. After 7 quarts I was still low, so maybe 8 quart kit???

Just the best so far including price! I'd go with Pentosin full synthetic than Shell which genuine bmw is these days (at least accdg to fcpeuro). I switched.
