Question Posted by Treyson
So ive been running 5w-40 for a while now and with the cold weather would you recommend to switch to 5w-30 instead?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
5w30 would not be an appropriate cold weather solution as they have the same viscosity when cold (5 weight). If you are looking for something that flows better on cold starts, you could switch to a 0w30 or 0w40 if available, however, 5w40 would be just fine for cold weather use.

So with the life time warranty do I just send back the old oil and you guys send back brand new oil or money back ?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
You would purchase the new oil or oil change kit on our website. After you change your oil, the old oil must be put into the oil containers and bagged in case of any oil leaks. Once we receive the old oil back we will refund you.
Question Posted by Jarrett
So if I bought this before, and now it’s time for an oil change, i buy this, change my oil, put the old stuff in the container the new stuff came in, ship it out and get the price of this back or does it not include the oil and i get the money back for the filter?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
If you send us back the old oil in the original containers next time you do your oil change we will refund you. We just ask that the containers are bagged in plastic to avoid any leaks. You would get money back on oil and filter if those contents are sent back.

5W30 or 5W40 are both perfectly fine. Comes down to personal preference.
