Exactly what I expected, works perfectly.

The new Bosch ignition coils do NOT pop when placed into the spark plug wire cavities; however, they do work perfectly & perform as expected. Replacement is quick and easy once BMW cover is removed on E46 M54 engine. Great price and shipping on a complete set inexpensive.

Exact OE part for a 2012 Mini Cooper Base. Come in with two unopened with paper wrap around the part, the other two seems opened and were not wrapped with paper inside the box. Would have given a five star if they came in with untouched packaging.

On a 2010 BMW X5M this coil set and a new set of spark plugs fixed my intermittent misfire on Cyl #5. I thought I had a dead coil out of the box but it turned out to be the connector not seated all the way into the coil plug. Lesson learned, I had to push the plug in firmly as I rotated the retaining lever down on each connector. Also make sure the coil is down all the way onto the spark plug, I found the trapped air under the coil would push it back up an 1/8" if I didn't push firmly and hold the coil down for a few seconds. Awesome product. I paid as much for the spark plugs as I did for the coils, Fantastic price!! Dealership quoted me just under $100 CDN each for the same exact coil.

I always go with Bosch. The new coils don't click in to place on the spark plug so, it's a guess if you have them in correctly. Took 4 tries, unplugging and reseating the coils before I could get them all set and to seated down to where I had no misfires.

The coil fixed my problem, but the retaining clip cracked in the middle as I was trying to lock the cable connector. Used the one from the defective unit and it worked out well. Seems to me Bosch has a design problem with these newer units. Mine were Made in Slovenia
