These coil looks fake to me. I returned back to FCP Euro. Never used. I really can tell are they good or bad.

I would avoid these coils. Was hunting a misfire in cylinder 5 and the coil SNAPPED in half! Not even a month after purchase. Spend the extra few dollars and get Delphi or Eldor coils. Save yourself the hassle of limping or being towed to the mechanic and having a $300+ dollar repair bill to remove the crappy coil.

Product ordering and delivery were excellent. Coils are an upgrade for my 2006 BMW X3 from earlier version, which after 5 years had suffered 2 (out of 6) misfire failures. Improvement remains to be seen. Other reviews mention 2 problems with installation, and I agree. First, the older version had a distinct tacit click that provided feedback of a positive connection to the spark plug. This coil doesn't have that, you just have to trust that the contact is good. Second, the lever on the previous version actually pulled the wiring connection snug and finished with a locking click. The lever on this coil is no help with the wiring connection, and in fact doesn't seem to stay put but rather pops up occasionally. The first problem is not important, but this second is a major physical defect, and Bosch needs to fix it.

Installed on my '11 335ix with N55 Engine. No issues, no misfires. The whole tube portion of the ignition coil is rubberized as opposed to the OEM ones that had a metallic cylider cover, on the coils I replaced there was some corrosion build up on the coil cylinder. We'll see how these coils behave by the next tune up. Installed at 100k miles.

Replaced a bad ignition coil with the BOSCH. Works Great! My 530i is now back on the road.

Sent me bad coils, engine kept misfiring and rough idle.
