It perfectly on my 2008 528xi and it was easy to install it. It cleared my check engine light warning.

Cannot remember the specific codes I was having, but E90 Post led me to this pump. It wasn’t that difficult to get to, I backed the car up on ramps and had it swapped out in :30 minutes.

Everything fit perfect but I do have extremely small gripes with the product. Didn’t come with instructions and it didn’t come with the single gasket that this DMTL pump needs. Not a giant issue cus I just used the old gasket from my failing pump. It didn’t fix my issue and my check engine light is now off cus of this pump. If I could I’d give this like a 4.9 out of 5 really.

Replaced mine on 2011 335i xdrive due to code but during swap found previous repair to red power wire and damaged wire for negative side of motor that goes back to DME. Figured I might as well replace anyways with 115K on car. Don't forget the grommet, although mine was reuseable.

I first noticed a fuel vapor smell, then the SEL came on a few days later. My code reader indicated the DMTL pump was failing. To replace, I removed the back left undercarriage cover (not the heat shield) and the carbon canister/DMTL pump. It's just two 10mm bolts, an electrical connector and three hoses. That allowed me to remove the T20 screws and swap the DMTL pump easily, then I just reassembled. Thanks for having this in stock and for the fast shipping.

Installed and works great error code erased and service engine light no longer easy fix.

Had the error code come up for a leak in the DMTL. Took me about an hour to install the new one. You should get some replacement pop rivets for the fender trim before the install though. You'll need them.

The check engine light went away after installing no more DTC code.
