This kit got a 2004 BMW 330ci that had been sitting for quite some time running like new again.

I was having driveability issues, especially with a voltage code popping, and when I replaced the alternator, I also replaced the coils and spark plugs. Good thing! When I pulled the plugs, I noticed a lot of arcing at the terminals and one of the coils was completely full of carbon inside. That'll do it, Mary! I swapped out Bosch sparks for this set here and it's true, the Beems like the NGKs!

Did this upgrade due to a misfire/stall issue I had. In the end I also needed to do the fuel pump but with those three changes the car is running like a top. It literally purrs and is rock solid stable at idle. This was the first engine bay job I did other than routine fluids and filters and it was super easy. I had read it was a good place to start for an inexperienced person and I have to agree. Go slow, make sure you have a spark plug wrench and/or magnetic pickup (to draw the plugs out of the deep well once loose) and other than that follow the Bentley shop manual and it's a straight forward job. Make sure to buy the appropriate diaelectric grease and anti-seize compound and read those directions and apply too. Highly recommend the kit if you have high miles, poor ignition or are unsure when they were last done. Plugs come pre-gapped. Coils dropped right in.

Great kit, just check and make sure you have the correct year e46, I didn't check fitment and had to send it back, but FCP aced the process and am very happy with the experience.
