This was actually super easy to install. Old one was leaking after 10 years so I decided to replace them both. Dealer wanted more than 6 times the price. Thanks FCP!

This hood strut fits flawlessly on my e61 535xi. Easy installation, good quality and I have these on for a couple months so no problems so far

My previous hood struts were completely worn out and had no supporting power.
The new hood struts are truly amazing and hold up the hood really well.

Original equipment manufacturer, just no BMW logo. Quality struts at a low price. Buy them.

Great product! I recall now how my old struts would fail and the hood would close on it's on. The new struts work great and my hood doesn't drop on its own. As good as the Genuine BMW without the expensive price.

The OEM hood struts were stabilus and so are these, no more getting hit in the head while doing service

The hood on my 2006 530xi wasn't staying open on it's own anymore so bought two of these, only needed a flathead screwdriver and 5 minutes to replace them. Held it's own right away.
