These are essential and really easy to install. Fitment is perfect for my 1996 e36 328is. Functionality outstanding! It's all about quality in life. So let your BMW have the same! FCP provided great service too!

Works as intended. Fit into my E36 M3.

Replaced both sides and the job was very easy. The savings over BMW prices while getting the original supplier!

So the original hood supports on my 99 BMW 328is were worn out. Meaning, you had to hold the hood up with one hand when doing anything that required the hood to be opened. I ordered these Stabilus hood supports and got them three days later. It was a 20-minute job to remove the old ones and replace them with these. I also added some extra lithium grease to the pivots. The old supports were soaked with oil on the underside, as a result of the seals failing and the oil leaking out. Now my hood stays up all by itself! Imagine that!

Good fit and easy to replace. Did the trick for me

I purchased the hood struts based on reviews I had read on FCP euro. They were spot on! The fit was perfect and my hood stays up as it should.

These seem to be the best quality for the price. Very strong, perfect fit on e36 hood.

Great replacement for a very annoying problem,.

Correct fitment and went on with no problem at all. Good OEM replacement.

These struts were the same length as the originals and the clips secured the struts properly to the mounting pins. These were better the other brand I tried (Meit..)that were shorter that the originals, the clips didn't secure properly and one failed within a week. (Luckily not while the hood was up.)
