Swapped this into my 335is a few months ago, although there is more clutter in the engine bay it’s still doable, only con was the lower corners would come in contact with my at the Time OEM intercooler, I installed a 5 inch intercooler and now the radiator has more room to sit, it has never given me any issues

My 2011 335xi DOESN'T reach temperature
Possibly too efficient. My 2011 335xi can't reach temperature after installing it. Keep getting thermostat stuck open code and neither oil nor coolant reaches temperature. I replacement the thermostat water pump and coolant temperature sensor and still no luck. I have taken it to a reputable shop and the problem remains. I reached out to FCPEURO and they confirmed that this is fairly common in the winter months. The only solution is to block off parts of the radiator, per only forums and FCPEURO. I only upgraded because I got tired of the plastic one cracking and leaking. I WISH I NEW.

So I bought this since the OEM one cracked at the plastic sides. I replaced it with new one but soon after that one also cracked on the plastic side. I'm not sure if its because my car is lowered and hitting some bumps puts too much shock on the plastic or what not. I decided to go with CSF only issue was its not perfect fitment. It is bigger and requires some maneuvering to install but even then the bolts don't align perfectly. Once I replace the intercooler maybe that'll fit a bit better but for now its nice and snug, not loose to move around.

Nothing too special really except that it is aluminum which is a plus since the n54, and all other BMW engines run hotter than your average car. Not exactly OEM fit, you are going to struggle a little bit installing this radiator. This radiator will over cool your car in colder weather and might even throw codes for the thermostat. I paired this radiator with a set of vargas cooling hoses and the only problem i have ran into is the upper radiator hose. I dont know if it is the hose or the radiator inlet, but it keeps leaking coolant from there, Almost as if the hose connection is too big or the radiator inlet is too small because i have tried changing the gasket and it still leaks. with a little bit of movement it leaks. i would not recommend this product unless you track your car. Even then i dont know how it would perform at the track if all i do is daily drive.

Bought this for my 2012 n55 bmw 135i, fit perfect!!! Package was secured well! Did take a min to install since elecric fan was in the way n hoses were a lil rough to take off but it was a perfect fitment.

installed during summer along with a csf stepped intercooler. install was a breeze except for removing the radiator hoses from the stock radiator, and then except for re-attaching the intercooler piping. those were the the most difficult parts. most importantly though, I installed during summer, everything was fine. once winter came, the car struggled to get up to operating temp on very cold days. set a thermostat code one time during the winter. warmer days are now returning and the car drives fine and gets up to operating temp in a timely fashion.

I upgraded to the CSF Radiator on my son's 335. About a year ago, I put in an entirely new cooling system....radiator, pump, thermostat, and every hose; pump had died and I swapped everything out so that I didn't have to go back later as parts aged. Unfortunely, the Mahle radiator that I bought from FCPEuro has now failed. Leaking from the end tanks. (i now see that's a common issue on the OEM mahle radiator.)
This CSF Radiator is truly drop in. Having working with performance parts on many cars, it is rare to see a perfect part....as this CSF radiator is perfect. Every tab was exactly where it was supposed to be, every hole lined up perfectly. I highly recommend this radiator....fit, performance, and durability (no more plastic end tanks!)

CSF 7046 Radiator fits E84 x35i
Hey guys the CSF webpage shows this as being compatible with E84 X35i. They were right as this dropped right in. About 3/4 inch thicker so fan shroud is tight going in. mounted right up with minor mods. definitely happy with not having to worry about another plastic end tank going....2 in 2 years so far..... of course now the thermostat has gone bad so have to dig that out next week... But no more slow leaks in the cooling system.

Great rad looks amazing took a couple extra weeks to get here, minor struggle on installation I had to trim the passenger side bracket on the bottom on the rad because it kept coming in contact with the mounting braces on the front clip. I noticed the same thing with the csf brand 7.5 stepped Intercooler wasn’t the greatest fit, I have friends with same car different brand Intercooler and installation was easy breezy with those products. All in all I think csf needs to pick its game up a little bit, not bashing them they make great products but it would be nice not to have to do modifications to your expensive parts to make them fit when description says “oem fit”

So much better than OEM! After installation my thermostat throw a code for “stuck open” which was odd, but the next day it went away and everything was operating fine. The only down side is if you live in colder environments, during winter the cars oil temp will take quite some time to warm up to operating temp. And also long drives I tried to crank the heat up with and without a/c and my car was blowing room temp air. So it gets quite cold in the car. Still worth it as it’s gonna be great for track use!
