A little bit more in-depth but there’s some nice write ups on how to do it. If you have an xDrive you’ll have to remove the front drive shaft for clearance to the transmission fill plug. Thanks BMW lol.

Noticeable Improvement
I have the GA6HP19Z transmission with my 2006 E90 325i, but even right after swapping the used fluid and filter for this new set has left me really pleased with the result. Now almost a year later I’m starting to have a bit of sloppy shifts, however I attribute that to failing seals and possibly solenoids, so I’ll be doing a full service on those in the near future. If you haven’t changed your transmission fluid you’re an idiot in my book. Save your transmission, you’ll love the results and your transmission will love you.

Trans change after 125k
I did my transmission service at 125k miles oil along with all new sleeves under the mechatronic unit, and did the readaptation and the trans shifts way smother after two days of driving. Recommend and is about 80$ less dollars than zf and is the same
