Looks like this was the exact same pump as OEM pump in my 330i. After the swap, starting issue is fixed. Thumbs up!

Worked like a charm! Took car of the dreaded 1/4 on needle but on the side of the road issue!

This solved my no-start issue! When turning the car into the accessory position, noticed there was no humming sound of the fuel pump. Troubleshot to verify voltage at the fuel pump first. (voltage was at the connector) Replaced old original fuel pump with this unit and it worked wonders.

Same as original on my E46. Original is also a VDO Siemans. Works well. FCP always comes through. Note to self - keep a towel handy when pulling the fuel line off the old pump and have something to plug or crimp the line. Gas will spill. Save cigar until later.

Kit comes as pictured, indentical unit removed from car and replaced with this one, car fired up just fine and mpg actually improved. Recommend for higher mileage vehicles.

It works as it should and my car is running again as a new car.

My old original pump was soft failing so i replaced it with a chinese pump assembly. It worked ok but the level sensor didn't work properly. Replaced it with the vdo pump and now the level sensor and the pump work great

It fixed my no start car that left me stranded, so that's a positive. So, it works. And it is in fact the OE pump, but it's changed a lot since 2000 and VDO is owned by Continental now, not Siemens, so there are differences. One star less because my check valve is acting funky, it still starts but the starts are long, maybe 5 cranks rather than 3. Hoping it'll settle out. If not I might just use the warranty and get another one.
