My injectors are below index 12, why do I still have to pay the core fee if I cant return my old ones?

You are charged a core because this product is remanufactured and the core (the part which is rebuilt) has a value assessed to it by the manufacturer. This is a fee we are charged, and in turn charge customers, which gives an incentive for cores to be returned (it's the only way and R&R part program can work). In your case, there is no interest in rebuilding index 11 injectors as the program only rebuilds index 12 injectors. Unfortunately, we can't refund core charges on the index 11's you have as they can't be rebuilt and it's not the same exchange of index 12 injectors to index 12 injectors.

Idea when they will be back in stock? How will the warranty work if one or more goes bad and you end up not carrying them in the future or they are back ordered at the time?

No known lead time at this point as we are awaiting for cores. This product will be available again in the future. In cases of warranty you can order a Genuine replacement and use the GB reman injector as a return towards the warranty order.

What has been done to these injectors during the remanufacturing process?

Each injector is thoroughly inspected before undergoing the rebuild process, the piezo stack undergoes a regeneration process to return it to original dimensions and performance, updated internal filter is installed, includes new decoupling element and fuel injector seal.

Since they have been rebuilt, and the flow rates of slightly changes, are the flow rates that are printed correct for the rebuilt injector? Do they reprint new flow rates on them after they have been rebuilt and tested?

You would use the same calibration numbers. When the piezo stack is regenerated it's brought back to it's original performance spec.

Do you have to have index 12 injectors already? Or can you use these to replace any index injector and then send the old *index 9* in for the core return?

We can only accept return of index 12 injectors for core refund.
