Two months on this clutch and so far so good! Don't forget to check your water pump for shaft play before replacing the fan clutch.

Works great, these things will fail, and its best just to replace it when you do your cooling system refresh. I'm pretty sure it's the OEM part, the factory part on my car said Behr Germany, and so does this one.

Replaced it as old one's can get noisy and possibly seize. Good part to replace while changing waterpump.

Behr is what came factory off of my 2000 528i. I tried Meyle and Sachs clutches because i noticed my auxillary gam was coming on all the time when it normally would only come on at 100+ degrees outside and my main fan had a lazy spin that never changed. Both the Meyle and Sachs (new) stayed engaged the entire ride spinning at rpm speed as if they were seized causing the fan to make a loud blowing sound as i drove. People would turn and look as i drove by because it was so loud. With the Behr clutch my fan is quiet again and blows strong when it needs to without being loud. Dont waste time with other brands.... At least for the 528i

Excellent replacement for my failing fan clutch. Perfect fit and pretty easy to thread onto the water pump.
