Excellent replacement for when you have to break you original fan because of a seized fan clutch to get everything out

If you are replacing your fan clutch, always replace the fan blade at the same time. Save yourself the headache of it breaking apart like all of the other 20 year old plastic pieces on these cars - and possibly destroying your hood or radiator. Better yet, remove the fan clutch all together and get the delete nut, and upgrade to the OEM electric fan assembly. It is plug and play, and helps with throttle response and fuel economy.

Looks to be exactly the same as the one that came on the car from the factory. No reason to pay extra for the BMW boxed part for this one.
