This coolant expansion tank looks just like the genuine BMW in form and fit. Replaced the one on my car that began leaking after a system pressure test. Better to find them early than too late! Thanks for stocking a great product.

So I’ve owned 3 e36’s and they’ve all had hairline cracks on the expansion tank. Grab one as a preventative measure. Your engine will thank you. Very crucial part for the cooling system.

Exact match to oem expansion tank but a bit less expensive :) No need to buy extra coolant level sensor because this comes with one.

The Behr expansion tank is a direct OEM replacement part, and it has been functioning perfectly for me over the past six months. I used the Behr expansion tank to replace a Meyle unit which had developed a pinhole leak after only 13k miles.

OEM replacement, tank is excellent quality and has held up quite nicely, fitment was on point.
