I usually go for the Genuine BMW parts and I’m glad I did on this one because I’ve purchased an aftermarket in the past and it felt lighter & also when screwed on it has a better feel that it is sealed properly.

Expansion tank work great until the cap stop holding pressure and started leaking . Had to buy an oem cap and that solved the problem. That’s the only reason I’m giving a 3 star rating.

System holding pressure again. Not sure which OE/OEM cap I had last but, system is pressurizing with this BMW cap now and performs great.

Don't bother with cheaper caps
This is one of the items where "OEM" vs. Genuine are different. Replaced a few caps that acted up in a very short period of time, went genuine and it all went away. Worth paying a couple of bucks over OEM, as the quality is visibly better than good renowned suppliers.

Perfect fit. I no longer have coolant expelling from my expansion tank cap.
