Decided to do the cover and gasket being it had a leak for a while. Part came with everything needed and at a way better cost than the dealer could sell their own product for. Being I had to get the part quickly, I took a ride out to the FCP Facility and it was impressive! Staff was just as great as dealing with them online or on the phone!

This was my first major DYI. The part fit perfectly as expected on my 90,000 mile 2007 335xi. Make sure you transfer the oil filler cover and any missing clips from the new cover to the old. I noticed the new in box BMW cover was missing a couple of clips - so I transferred them from the old cover to the new. Without the clips you can’t screw on the engine cover when you’re done. Definitely a 2 person job when removing the old cover and putting on the new. Just lots of wires etc to keep out of the way. The part was perfect otherwise, just a lengthy procedure when you’re new to working on your car. Took me a 1-1/2 days - things don’t always separate easily under the hood of a 12 year old car :-)

The valve cover is like a twin to the OEM cover its a perfect fit.. Best thing is that it has a lifetime warranty.. BMW doesn't do that.

Fits perfect and comes with everything you need. New bolts and gasket are already preinstalled. Just torque to spec in the proper order and you're good to go!

The valve cover on my n54 had a small crack in it so naturally I trusted the guy's at FCP Euro to provide me with a replacement. Part was an exact match and performs as expected. These guy's are awesome.
