Don't Forget the O-ring and Bolt
Sensor works fine, but it does not come with the O-ring and aluminum bolt. I ordered the O-ring but forgot the aluminum bolt, when I tried to reuse the bolt its head sheared off. Luckly this bolt has a really low torque, so when the counter-clockwise drill I was using to prepare for an easy-out contacted it, it spun out with the drill rotation.

Carnkshaft position sensor vdo
Part didn't worked 2nd time, and I had to get it done by the mechanic which costed me $1800 and now I can't even return this part cause I am not ordering the replacement. I trusted FCP euro but lately their quality of parts are going down. What can I say their quality control department need to step up cause someone is not doing their job, since I am in sourcing business I can tell when the quality control guys are doing their job.

bought this part at oreilly’s because i was in a hurry to fix my car.. didnt work at all, total garbage. went back and returned it and ordered this one and it works like a charm. no bs. Do not waste your time at oreillys or autozone. fcpeuro is the truth

stay away from advance auto parts and autozone sensors those aftermarket products almost destroyed my engine,after purchasing this part from fcp euro fixed all my problems on the first try smh didnt even have to reset the ecu. runs better quiet no more idle ticking feels like a new car. thank you so much fcp euro you will see me again.

Get the bolt and O-ring too
Direct OEM replacement item. Job isn't that hard- is easier with the intake manifold out of the way, but CAN be done without removing it, even on xi models. Make sure you don't chintz out on the new bolt and o-ring- the aluminum bolt is only good for one use...ask me how I know :/

Fixed random DTC and ABS lights coming on intermittently
I had a problem with the DTC and ABS light coming on my 08 328i after driving for about 10 mins. Changing out this sensor fixed the problem.
