The coolant switch switch couldn't rotate into the lock position, so I cut a sliver off of the slot so it would. If you have the original hoses, be prepared to replace the two that detach from the tank or find replacement O rings, because the old ones deform and will not reseal. The O ring channel on the hose between the expansion tank and thermostat housing was brittle and disintegrating, so ordering a new one with the tank might be wise.

I replaced 100% of my cooling system in my 2004 330ci Convertible before driving it 4000 miles from Alaska to TN. After the rebuild, took it for a 600+ mile test drive, from Delta Junction to Anchorage and back. Had, and continue to have, ZERO leaks or other issues over 20K miles later.

Still going strong after 18 months
After trying a few dodgy expansion tanks over the past few years and this one is certainly the best I've tried.

Excellent. I ordered from here because the dealership price and availability was easily beaten by FCP Euro.
