No leaks
First one didn't last too long probably because I left the tank over full after the vacuum fill and didn't bother to siphon that little extra out. Now with correct level new cap is dry.

Leaked
Seems like I might have over tightened it a bit and it popped loose, now it won’t tighten down properly at all. Seems like this has less threads than the original so doesn’t fit as well (full disclosure, I installed a new expansion tank too). I ended up just pulling the seals off it and using them on the oem cap instead which seems to work fine with the new expansion tank I installed.

Expansion Tank Cap
This Mayle expansion tank cap is well made and looks to be the equivalent to the factory BMW boxed cap...so far this cap works well.

Cooling System Rebuild
I replaced 100% of my cooling system in my 2004 330ci Convertible before driving it 4000 miles from Alaska to TN. After the rebuild, took it for a 600+ mile test drive, from Delta Junction to Anchorage and back. Had, and continue to have, ZERO leaks or other issues over 20K miles later.
