Slides in pretty easily after some prying
Had to wiggle it and pry on it but eventually it slid onto my water pump and thermostat snugly and fits like stock one.

Not OE quality, but works
If you read the review by Viet earlier, he's spot on. This hose works but the protection is lacking compared to the OE BMW version. If youre swapping parts, I recommend pulling the heat jacket off the old OE hose and using with this one. This Rein hose also lacks the thick rubber extrusion at the top of the curve meant to prevent abrasion. For the price though, this is not bad. Time will tell. 8-29-2019

Not same as BMW hose but works
This hose has same measurements as oe hose but does not have the reinforced rectangle padding at the rear of the curve on the hose. Also the heat shield is cut out instead of custom tailored with snap lock buttons like the one on oe. I will keep my oe hose for backup.
