Did a cooling system overhaul on an e90 TT. This hose goes from the top front of the engine to the back of the thermostat - which is underneath the intercooler to turbo inlets pipe! After 10 yrs & 100K miles, it was mushy. And when I removed it, the plastic & o-ring piece was all broken & still in the recessed hole in the engine. A real pain to attach to the T-Stat but definitely in need of replacing from age & heat.
