It was missing the locking pin. but it was an easy fix. great product!

High quality part
I noticed that when I replaced this part, my belt was in a different position, lower to the ground by about an inch. I suppose that means my old tensioner was completely shot, as the two bends of the belt were actually touching each other. Maybe it's just me, but I feel that my car "picks up" quicker.
