Bolts were a waste of money
Replaced my original belt and tensioner at 110k miles. As far as I can tell the tensioner is exactly like the Genuine BMW one except the part of the casting where the BMW logo and part number would be has a nicely milled flat spot, lol. My bolts looked perfect when removed with no signs of plastic deformation or corrosion. At 19 Nm torque and with the excellent Dacromet finish I see no reason why these should be slated for automatic replacement. The BMW repair manual makes no mention of replacing these and they're usually quite aggressive about single use fasteners.

Great kit. I compared the OE tensioner to the new one. The new one didn't have the Roundel on the front, but it had the same manufacturer's imprint on the back. That is value right there. Get basically the same part, pay less. The belt went on just fine as well - Thank you, YouTube.

Easy fix/installation only took about 15 minutes to replace. Originally bought a different brand and that ripped immediately.. should’ve went with FCP first.
Received with no missing parts on the kit which is very good!

Easy replacement for preventative maintenance. Kit comes with 3 bolts, tensioner and belt. Simple job that takes about 20 minutes after you remove the air box. Noticeable difference in the tension and a sound peace of mind with a new belt.
