Perfect fix for broken pulleys!
I have a 2014 BMW X1 35i Sport Line with N55 i6 Twin Scroll turbo. A random little noise started happening and that turned into a loud screech everytime the car was running. I found that one of the idler pulleys was bad. I purchased this kit and it included everything I needed for the job. Every part is exactly like the factory parts removed. Everything went back without issue and is holding up perfectly! I have purchased all my repair parts through FCP Euro and have always had the highest quality parts and top notch service!

E90 N55 works great
Had a squeaky belt, was starting to wear. Replaced, good as new. If you don't take out the radiator fan, you're gonna have a bad time lol. I remember one pulley being a pain, I had to hack together a small bit holder to get my hand in there, but that was because I didn't want to take the radiator fan out. Don't be like me.

Pro tip: remove the radiator fan. It's so easy to remove and install and frees up SO MUCH room. I've never fit my full arm down in those spots. The pulleys installed PERFECTLY with no issues at all. It was so wonderful. Just follow torque specs and install the crankshaft guard at the same time! Had a weird noise on startup. Like my car was irritated and talking to me under its breathe, and the serpentine belt needed to be replaced anyways. I did this pulley replacement job while doing the oil filter housing gasket and oil cooler line o-rings. Since I was going to get oil everywhere anyways, I figured it would be a better time to take out all the pulleys, do the oil messy job, then replace all pulleys and button up! Sure did have A LOT of gunk and buildup on the front side of my engine so I cleaned all of that up while I was at it. Recommended jobs at the same time: 1. Oil filter housing gaskets. 2. Mickey Mouse metal adapter that goes into coolant line (need to remove plastic one to get to the oil filter housing bolt, and the plastic will disintegrate on you) [Not sold on FCP] 3. Oil cooler line o-rings that go to the oil filter housing. 4. Drive belt kit that has tensioner pulley, alternator pulley and idler pulley. (You could add on crankshaft / harmonizer pulley if you want.) 5. VTT Crankshaft guard (if your serpentine belt snaps it could get sucked into your engine through the seal on the crankshaft pulley. This adds protection against that!) 6. Serpentine belt Extra: Take out Vanos Solenoids and clean them up! Degrease the front facing engine side while you have everything uninstalled. Detail that sucker good!

Beginner here!
This is my first bmw, an N55e. What I know about bmws in general... Not much. Tried to fit this the way I was told, didn’t work for two days. after realizing there was a technical bulletin on the routing of the belt, the sucker went in like a hole in one. Torqued it all up and Thanks fcp is all I gotta say!
