Significant improvement at 190k kms
2002 325i Touring M54B25. Previously rebuilt factory DISA with one of those aftermarket kits. Noted the seal wasn't in great shape. 25,000kms later I'm getting DISA errors. Replaced with this Rein unit, delighted! It's a great part, and the engine is running better than ever. Significantly less expensive than a Genuine replacement; I've no concerns about quality or fitment.

I replaced the OEM DISA valve with 136k with this unit and it fit perfectly and works as it should. I would buy this part again vs. OEM save some $.

Fixed vacuum leak causing rough idle, made the car idle smooth and quiet.

I purchased a new DISA knowing my 2004 525i had over 180k miles on it and probably had never been inspected nor replaced. I read these fail around that 125-180 range; sometimes sooner. I'm glad I ordered it because the original one was completely shot. The flap moved freely with absolutely no spring. This DISA Valve worked out perfectly and fit very snug to the intake manifold. Thanks FCPEURO!
