Changed the differential fluid with this product, was much needed. Shifts smoother.

Purchased for my E30 318is worked great.

I used a little over 1 bottle to fill the differential on my 540i. I decided to buy a fluid transfer pump and a long hose to get it into the differential. The old fluid was red/brown in appearance at 98k miles. The new redline fluid is yellow, like brake fluid. The included filler bolts fit properly, but I reused the older steel washers.

The kit comes with two quarts of fluid and new plugs. You only really need 1 bottle and you could really reuse the old plugs and gaskets.

Too bad it isn't being sold as apparently there are issues with redline...

This was a great price for 2 bottles of Red Line and the 2 new plugs. Easy job, don't even need a jack.

Not sure i really needed this at 120K since the old was very clean. but hey much cheaper then a new diff while i was changing out a rebuilt drive shaft and new guilbo anyway. Nice kit red line is great stuff.
