I was going to try to buy gaskets and reuse the old one, but these are aluminum, so the threads are frail, and the gaskets are unlabeled. Worth just replacing the whole thing.

Works great and fits perfect on my e92 335i. It's not magnetized though which I knew, but you can purchase a magnetized one for about $35 elsewhere, which i might do in the future.

Not fit for transfer case
This part is not fit on 2007 X3 transfer case too big. I’m keeping for front diff. The FCP staff should recommend the aluminum ring not drain plug.
