Fits like the factory one, but saved 20 bucks. Only real difference is the Febi logo, but you could probably wipe that off.

Looks and feels exactly like the original fitting BMW OEM, it is likely made by the same manufacturer. Similar weight and accuracy of manufacturing. I am replacing mine as preventive maintenance because I am approaching 75k miles and for just a little over 20 bucks is not worth the risk of having oil going all over the engine.

Good fit

Although I do worry about using Chinese parts over good old Deutschland-made, the fact that this is from the Bilstein company (and that FCP Euro sells it) made me go for this over the OE, especially considering the cost difference... Got VANOS inlet codes intermittently, and wouldn't you know it, the interior basket in my current one had totally detached from the cap itself. My advice: if you have never changed this in your car, given how old most are now, just get one and replace it so your engine can do its thing properly. These are mega cheap and keep the engine oiled and well-timed. If I had inspected it without the replacement, I might have been SOL trying to get it back together!
