I bought the kit and all is good except you should include the expansion tank thermostat . Took everything apart not knowing the thermostat broke when removing the tank from the bracket . Also you guys aren't open Saturday ? That's the day most folks do the work. Now I'm hunting for parts

Everything fit well, but watch the moldine expansion tank, the molding is not great. Particularly with the transmission cooler ports on bottom. It had a significant lip of material that was not allowing the pipes to seat properly. Couple of minutes with sand paper it was fine. Just wish I had found it before I installed.

E46COOLKIT - Modine expansion tank was not mfg. correctly
Bought this for a 2005 330i. My first install ever of an expansion tank on a BMW. The Modine expansion tank that came with the kit did not have the grooves completely cut through the sides of the expansion tank connector that fits over the auto transmission cooler. Consequently, the metal clip that locks the tank in place could not lock and the tank was not secure. Found this out after the car ran hot and lost all coolant about a month after installation of the kit. Checked another tank I had on hand, same part number, same Modine brand, it worked fine since it had the two grooves fully cut through the sides of the connector that goes over the transmission cooler. Apart from a tank mfg. defect, the kit was fine. I'm working with FCP customer service now on getting the defective tank replaced.

Was a good kit. Wish the pump included was not a Graf, looked sort of cheap. Go with a Stewart or Saleri instead.

All parts snapped into place perfectly, everything was OEM as promised, and my engine is running very well. I've had no problems with leaking since I did the overhaul, it's been around a month now. I'm very pleased with this purchase and will recommend to all of my other friends with e46's.

The kit provided nearly everything for the pump replacement. Only items missing were the plastic water pump pulley cover. Ours had a chip, and I should have replaced it.
As a side note, if you are doing this work, you should also replace the belts, and idler pulley, and tensioner and pulley. I now need to replace these and should have done it with the water pump job.
