Did a coolant exchange on a 2017 BMW X5 50i. Bought two and had almost a full one left over. I used a vacuum tool to assist with ensuring there's no air pockets, and it made for easy work. Drained everything, vacuum-filled with distilled water, ran for about 20 minutes with heat on high (which was fun in the middle of summer), shut it down and let it cool back down. Drained again and vacuum-filled with 50/50 mix of this stuff. Did the cycle (engine off, key in ON position, gas pedal fully down with heat on high until the coolant pump kicks on). Ran for 20min, let cool down, then checked level. Added just a hair more. Keep in mind on this engine, this does NOT exchange the turbo cooling system...just the main cooling system. Haven't learned how to do the turbo cooling system yet. 65K on the clock and I change it every two years as Germany prefers.
