So my coolant vent tube "straw" busted at 10 years and 155k miles. I think the dealership might have put in a new one for me when they did the radiator replacement under CPO at 80k miles. I'm glad I had coolant on hand at home because I used about 1/2 gallon of this stuff for all the coolant that I lost. PLEASE change your upper radiator hose and the long running hose that goes to the expansion tank (The pex plastic "straw" part is known to fail because it isn't rubber, especially since it sits on top of the radiator). I had to get the exterior of my radiator watered off with a garden hose because it had sooo much coolant on the exterior that it was smoking like a chimney once the car warmed it... it just wouldn't burn away on its own.
In any case... it's a gallon of the correct BMW coolant. What more do you want.
