My 09 328i xDrive had a lot of green coolant mixed in from the last repair guy. When I changed my radiator out, I flushed the entire system with distilled water a couple times before using this.
Did the flush procedure, drained, then ran the car a few minutes on water alone. What drained out at the end was nearly clear. Then I dumped the whole gallon of concentrate into the tank and topped off with distilled water. I figured there was enough distilled water that didn't drain out the car to get the right mix right.
No issues so far. I'd stick with OEM as long as I'm not facing frequent cooling system issues requiring drain and filling.
