TRW manufactures the control arms for the M3 so these are the OEM control arms. Firms up the suspension and improves the handling. This is an excellent suspension modification for all E9X owners. FCPEuro offers these at an excellent price. Shipping was quick.

Ride is a decent amount firmer , and steering wheel feels tighter. When I say firmer, the best way I can describe it is if you ever had motor mounts installed, it tightens everything up , that's what it feels like. Car feels more planted. It also fixed the random clunking sound I had from the front oem fluid filled bushings that were worn and leaking. The cons: It did increase road noise, as expected from stiffer bushings. You do give up some comfort but not much. If oem ride quality was a 10 , it would drop it down to a 7.5-8 . You do NEED a alignment right after install because of the increased negative camber the control arms add and the stock specs of the alignment will be way off until you get it done . Overall I am pleased with the upgrade , and the increased responsiveness of the steering was worth the comfort trade off .

Worth every penny! 100% better steering response and feel over the stock parts. Stock parts were make to work with run flat tires and since I ditched those, lowered it and upgraded the shocks, this kit rounds out my front end upgrades and provides a nice balance between performance and comfort. It does give a little more chassis feedback (road imperfections, etc...), but its all good. Don't forget the alignment!

I have a E90 328i. I did the M3 front control arm upgrade, replacing standard 328i wishbones and Meyle HD tension struts. This upgrade made a noticeable improvement in turn-in and stability. The stiffer bushings and additional camber make the car feel more buttoned-down. The parts are made by TRW and they look almost identical to the Genuine BMW versions. Very happy with this purchase, thank you FCPEuro for stocking them. Bill L
