Maker of CCV and country of origin is unknown. All four hoses, ICV gasket and intake boot were manufactured by Rein in Germany or Turkey. For my 2003 525i (M54), there is no small vacuum hose to the CCV so I reused the rubber cap.

Bought this stuff on sale. Buying from FCP is totally worth it. All of there kits are so complete. Any o-ring, seal, or clip that comes off to replace whatever part, FCP sends a new one. Gives you real confidence your repair was done right

PCV Breather System Install Went Smoothly
New to BMWs, but did research on-line, and tackled the job. Took about 4 hours, taking my time, and was not easy, but easier than I thought it would be, especially working by feel (didn't remove the intake manifold). The hardest parts were the hose connectors and "quarter turn" type of connections. Next time, would get long nose pliers with tips bent at 45 or 90 degrees, for the hard-to-get-at hose ends you have to pinch in order to release. All parts fit with no problems.

Breather System Replacement
If you are experiencing knocking at the manifold upon start you need to replace the breather system. I did the replacement on a 2002 525i a year ago and PCV breather system is still working awesome.
