The clutch alignment tool given in this kit is not for n54 models with the 8 bolt flywheel at least for my 2008 bmw 335i (12/2007 production month). I did have to buy the proper alignment tool, however the clutch grabs nicely and works as it should so apart from the alignment tool it is a good kit.
