Fit well and works. A bit larger than the original, but that me be due to an improvement. Regardless, the check engine light is gone and the car runs like new.

Excellent price and excellent item
Seems like OEM. Never had any issue. Drove 500+ miles with it. Price is /12 of the genuine bmw part. Not like the cheap ebay part which does not work / work randomly

No more turning off at idle
After about 6,000 miles, my car has not turned off (while leaving a stop, releasing the clutch and pressing the gas pedal). I replaced it with this and so far so good.

genuine, for less money
Literally the same as genuine but with the roundel buffed off. On one part it even says "BMW" followed by some numbers. Easy replacement for the original one that would throw a service engine soon light every couple days. All I did was remove the vanos sensor and used a 5mm allen key to unfasten the bolt and took roughly 30 minutes of my time

Tough Guy
Purchased OEM part# 12147539165 a camshaft position sensor for my 2000 528 wagon back in December 2016, it is now the end of July 2017, the car just rolled over 200,000 miles last week, still running great as always.

Brought the engine back to life!
Had intermittent stalling and lack of power. I had assumed it was the VANOS failing. Check this first. OBD II sensor confirmed I had an intermittent fault in the CPK sensor. Little did I know how much it was affecting the power and performance of my poor engine. Replace in pairs. If one is going, it is likely the other is on the way out too.

Always use OEM part for this sensor. Old one caused the engine to run slightly rough and erratic without codes.

Nice camshaft position sensor.
Had the check engine code for the camshaft position sensor, replaced it with this one 2 months ago and the code went away, so far so good. Seemed to be of good quality. Fixed the stalling and rough idle issues I was having. Will add to the review if I run into a problem later down the road.
