Had my 03 325xi stalling at start up periodically and throwing a P0340 code, decided to replace both intake and exhaust sensors with these VNE OE sensors. Easy enough to do, had to remove VANOS solenoid and intake airfilter box to install but no problem, only a couple of minutes worth of effort (air filter removal provides easy access to harness connection). Did have to use 5mm hex to remove intake sensor as I didn’t have a low profile 5mm socket (as oil filter stand close and didn’t want to remove that) but no problem. M54 runs great now, no more stalling! Of note, O rings come with VNE sensors so no need to purchase separately.

perfect fit, replaced both cam sensors and car runs perfectly. Not sure if its related to the sensors but the car used to start after three tries sometimes but now it starts on first try every time
