Sensor is as advertised, good quality and does come with a new O-Ring. The socket cap screw (13627545338) was original on my car, as was the sensor, and has blue loctite applied to the end. This screw is notorious for rounding off, as I found out myself after it happened to me, and looked it up online. If this happens to you- try shocking the head, and use penetrating fluid. Then, use a T30 torx. You can also purchase this cap screw at the hardware store as well.

2001 330xi was throwing a code for the exhaust position sensor, this seems to have solved the code and fixed a hot start issue. The tip of the sensor is a bit larger than the one I removed, but the length is the same. Fits fine.

Bought new VNE sensors when my 03 325xi began to periodically stall upon starting and throwing P0340 code. Identical to BMW sensors but at a fraction of the cost (in fact, is the BMW sensor just has the BMW logo and part # ground off). Had an issue with the wiring harness for the exhaust sensor - wouldn’t detach from the old sensor but luckily could remove the sensor and then work it off (for some reason BMW used a different type of harness connector on the exhaust sensor than the intake sensor - which has the wire clip to disengage connector whereas the exhaust connector has a plastic press type disconnector which is crap). Had to remove fan shroud to get in to use 5mm hex socket to remove sensor but not problem. Of note, this VNE sensor comes with O ring so no need to purchase separately.
