Good brakes so far. Haven’t worn very much, very good stopping power.

These pads play there duty in releasing less brake dust and giving your ride that stopping power still

I installed the Akebono Euro pads along with Zimmermann Blank rotors last week. For me, it was a great improvement from the original pads (Pagids?). Although I got 164,400 miles out of the original pads and rotors, I absolutely hated the heavy brake dust and squealing at very low speeds and light braking. Same in reverse. I and the dealer had cleaned and re-greased the pad backs, piston contact point and the carrier contact points with no success. Even though I was accustom to the somewhat abrupt initial bite, my wife hated driving the car because of it. I have about 750 miles on the new pads and rotors. Absolutely SILENT! No noticeable brake dust yet (once the pads had cleaned off the rotors coating in the contact areas). Since I live in the Space Coast portion of Florida, we dont see any significant cold weather that might have some impact on the initial bite issues that some mention. I have no such issue. I find the pads require something much less than 5% more peddle pressure-Not even noticeable after you have driven with them for a day or so. Braking is very linear, smooth and progressive. Works absolute great for me, but everyone is different with different expectations and driving dynamics.
