Replaced both upper and lower coolant hoses and this is a must buy so u can do it at this time too! Works well. A+

Save a ton of money without getting shafted by a mechanic
Recently had a problem with my 2003 E39's radiator fan. It would turn on whenever it wanted to and be quite noisy while I was driving short distances. Brought it to a mechanic and they said I needed a total Cooling System overhaul which was quoted around $800. Did a little bit of research as to what might be the sole cause and found out my Auxiliary fan switch was broken in half only... Went from almost paying $800 something to only $13.99 + S&H and even got a sick FCP Euro T-Shirt along the way.

Installed it the moment I got it no more leaking, But as a precaution I recommend changing your lower radiator hose while you are there.

After 195K miles the Fan Aux Switch started leaking. Purchased this and it stopped the leaking. Unfortunately I now other parts of the 195K cooling system are starting to fail as well. Crack in radiator, crack in upper radiator hose at bleed screw. Ordering those parts soon.
