This is kind of a tricky part to change. you need a prying tool and a curved needle nose to get it out. There is a notch on the inside of the sleeve. that notch goes into the housing on the bottom side of the sleeve housing. When you get it in you have to apply a good amount of pressure to push the locking pin up. Approach this with patience because it can be infuriating and be very careful not to break anything. Make sure to torque the valve body back into place before you attempt to put this sleeve in (that's if you removed the valve body). Be sure to remove the exhaust bracket right behind the trans pan to give you some room, because there is none. You can get your arm in above the exhaust pipes above the heat shied behind the exhaust bracket that was removed. I use "50's kid" and "shoplifetv" as guidance for this project. Hope this helps someone not go crazy changing this part..

It fits, lol. Make sure you change them with the correct size, the med and small one can kind of confuse you so keep them separate.
