I used this on a 2007 525. This came with everything needed. Just make sure before you purchase this that you don’t have a leak at the sleeve because you will need other parts as well. Simple drain and fill. Just make sure you follow filling procedures. For filling, I used a 1 gallon pump sprayer used for lawn care. Worked perfectly and only cost $10.

Easy to install best price

First of all...great product and FCP is my go-to place for all parts for my 2006 530i with 185k miles (original owner). I decided to get brave and replace the transmission solenoids and all the seals for the transmission. Except for one little issue installing the sealing sleeve, which is a royal pain due to the tight space to work in. I got everything button back up and started the fill process. At 40 degrees Celius, I was pumping the 7th quart and was getting nervous that I wouldn't have enough......I didn't. I had to run to the parts store and bought two more quarts (returned one of them) since I didn't know how much more I needed (first time I did this job myself). In all, the job took about 7 1/2 quarts so it would be nice if you added one more quart to this kit. Overall, great product and service. Would've given it 5 stars if I hadn't had to stop the job and run to get what was needed to finish.

Great kit! Price was great, and I was able to service my transmission for the first time ever, 210k miles. I'm the 3rd owner, but the previous 2 are family so I know the whole history and have all records. Transmission was never touched because it's "lifetime" of course. Glad I did this!

The fluid is the same original BMW factory fluid. Oil pan/filter and bolts are all great quality and fit. My ZF gearbox deserves only the best in service part, FCP EURO makes it possible without a sweat.

This kit is good for a simple drain and fill + replacing filter and cleaning out whatever the magnets collected. However, it seems silly to take the bottom off the tranny without extracting the mechatronics and replacing the seals that so often lead to serious transmission problems with the 6HP19 tranny. On my car, that means removing the exhaust and the transmission cross brace, just to access the mechatronics connector, which doesn't have to be done to use this kit, but in the end saves time and money. FCP has the kit that includes the mechatronics seals in addition to the stuff in this kit. Perfection is to use the other kit, reset tranny adaptations, drive the car for a month, then use this kit. That will replace nearly all the fluid that remained in the torque converter during the first service. Repeat every 70K miles.
