Question Posted by John
I wanted to know why there is not a kit with the mechatronic sleeves for the 328i. Would these extra sleeves, plug adapters Have to be purchased separately or is this something that is not on the 328i automatic trans? I would like to replace those if I’m going in there already. Seen a review that said they just were not included with the kit, if the 328i does have these in the auto trans, then why is there not a kit for it. Sorry for the repeat questions. Thanks

The only time you replace the sealing sleeves is when you remove the Mechatronic unit from the housing of the transmission. It's not part of a normal service. With that said, we also offer a service kit for the 6HP19 transmission that includes the parts needed for servicing the Mechatronic unit, p/n KIT-24152333907KT3. Please note there is a major model year gap in which the 6HP19 transmission was not used on E9X 328i's.

Is 6.5 liters of Zf transmission fluid enough for a 2008 Bmw 535i?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
More than enough fluid in this kit. This kit is intended for performing the ZF/BMW recommended drain and fill service procedure.
Question Posted by a customer
can I get this kit without gearbox oil?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
The individual parts from the kit are available on the site separately. If you go to the "kit contents" tab there is a blue link which will take you to each individual item in the kit. In this case select each item but the fluid.

Will this kit work with my 07 335i even though my trans is stamped ga6hp21
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
6HP19 and 6HP21 are the same transmission. BMW refers to both as a GA6HP19Z.
