Replaced as preventive maintenance, had to replace leaking hoses. Now is leaking from this part.

Like everyone else has been saying get a new oem o-ring from here as well when buying this. Will update if anything goes bad but has been great so far no leaks.

The Flange is perfect. Do not waste your time installing it with the o ring that comes with it. Read the reviews they are real. I installed the flange Nov 27th 2024 and now it Jan 23rd 2026 and it has been leaking. It lasted only 6,500 miles. Replace it with the OEM o-ring part #11537545278.

Work well at install and subsequently leaked.

Copied from "Garrett" since I had the exact same experience: "I bought this to replace my OEM plastic flange on my [e61]. Initially, had no complaints with this product, as the flange and clamp seemed to be high quality, but the fit was pretty snug going into the block. Fast forward 9 months later and it’s weeping coolant, which got worse and worse until I pulled it today. The o ring was brittle, hard, cracked, and squared off- not even a year of use! I bought an OEM o ring and reinstalled it, and it went in easier. I’ve seen other reports of this happening on the f30 and e90 forums, Rein needs to include a better o ring, or FCP euro needs to include a .50 cent OE one. It was a cheap fix but was a pain to drain the coolant and replace this less than a year later for what should have been a forever fix"

Flange fits snug but o-ring leaks after a year! Buy the OE or Genuine BMW one. Part # 11537545278

2008 535xi Touring. The mickey mouse flange is a know wear item on this car. Mine was original. As I was changing the oil cooler lines, i decided to swap this out as well and glad that I did. It literally crumbled as I removed. I was able to get all the plastic bits out without them dropping down into the pipes. This was super easy. 50s Kid did a nice video on this install if interested.

This mickey mouse piece is great, easy replacement for that weak plastic piece, highly recommend The piece is made of aluminum, I recommend you buy O-Ring Bmw the price $8.00 For BMW N-26 I only need a T-30 to remove the 2 screws. I recommend you watch the FCP Euro videos for torques. I watch Gareth Foley's videos He explains to you the tool you need and the torque required for each screw.

This part will out last my engine. Very nice quality.

Installed today, got it up to operating temperature and no leaks
