Such a better design then the original plastic one. I prefer this style of clamp over the ones that BMW puts on their cars. It was a quick job not much work done within 15 minutes!

BMW likes to use plastic for a lot of their cooling systems, the main issue with plastic parts for the cooling system is they becomes brittle and cracks or breaks after a while. This aluminum replacement peice fits perfectly and I don't need to worry about it breaking.

Gorgeous billet aluminum hose flange. Only issue is this....if you buy a new pump to cylinder hose you don't really need this. However, if you do wish to use it you'll have to destroy the plastic flange that the hose is attached to. The metal hose clamp is a challenge to remove without scarring the rubber hose.

Ordered this piece due to the end of my hose being worn out and leaking. Great quality and easy to install. The hardest part was removing the OEM flange from the hose. Using a dremel makes the job easier. Just make sure to not cut any more of the hose than needed to ensure an OEM fit.

One of the best maintenance/upgrades you can do! Get rid of ALL of the plastic in the bay!

Much better design than OE. No longer will you have a cracked flange, rogue coolant leak, or have to buy a $150 hose because of a broken piece of plastic. I was doing a totally different job, and found the OE flange had cracked. This part got me out of a bind, looks much better than factory, and will surely outlast the OE flange. This is a must for any long term owner of an N54 style engine!
