Got rid of my squeaky start up sounds, I converted from hydraulic to mechanical, pretty straight forward install.

Fit my car perfectly and kit had both the belts, both tensioners, idler pulley, bolts & screws that should be replaced at the same time. They appeared to be high quality and identical to the old parts. Hopefully they will last for a long time without issues. Shipping was fast and on time. Would have been helpful to know I needed a large Star Hex wrench to remove the old tensioner but I found a set at AutoZone up the street.

Very easy install. The pulleys on this kit themselves are not replaceable! however with Fcp Euro's lifetime warranty you don't have to worry about that. If my tensioners weren't bad I would've just replace the pulleys themselves.

Did numerous 100K preventive maintenance tasks on my 2003 325xi - used the Contitech kit - mechanical tensioners were a perfect fit and easy to replace.
