N52 motors will start leaking down oil, usually, this is due to the valve cover or oil filter housing, so guess where it travels to, the serpentine belt. Usually, you can hear an annoying squeak so that's a sign it's time to change this puppy. It's not a difficult job but getting the belt in place correctly can be tedious and takes a bit of time, my advice would be to get the belt at the furthest pulley first you can achieve this by inserting it sideways and working your way up until it fits in correctly. After installing this thing made my W run like a champ again. Most people wait so long until it's too late, don't be most people and save your investment before this thing falls off, and it will, just look it up online, so many cases of this event. Weirdly the phenomenon that can ruin your car is gravity as this thing will snap and go into the crankshaft which then pieces of rubber will go in and clog the oil, which then boom, death of the engine, so yea worth every single penny and such an easy thing to get done. Hello so I had the pulleys replaced but I had to put my old belt back on because the one that came with the new parts was too wide. So I need to send it back so I can get the one that actually fits my car.
