Seems to be a great quality hydraulic tensioner conversion kit for 20% of the cost of genuine BMW parts. Perfect fit. The instructions consist of a series of drawings, but I found a utube video which clarified the assembly/install process. Just remember, turn slowly clockwise to tension the pulley, while the gas spring compresses.

Kit is a replacement for the spring loaded tensioner commonly used in the E46; however, the hydraulic version makes a noise upon vehicle startup and sometimes at idle. I thought this would go away after a break-in period, but it has not subsided and continues even after 15, 000 miles. :-(

Looked to be of the same quality as the original. Bolted right on easily and haven't had any issues with it.

I Searched every where for a good priced Belt Tensioner for my 2002 330CI and FCP was the cheapest i could find and the best detailed. it was my first time buying from this site and you can bet i will be back again! i installed the Tensioner at my job and it went on and worked perfectly! no problems at all. i would definitely recommend buying this kit vs buying just the Tensioner. Shipping was quicker than i expected as well. received the kit a day before the actual expected date!
